Landing Page QA Checklist for Mobile, Accessibility, Tracking, and Follow-Up
A reusable launch checklist that follows the visitor from first render through conversion and follow-up.
Before launch
Confirm one primary action, message match with the traffic source, accurate offer details, visible proof, a working privacy link, and a mobile layout that preserves the value proposition and action without horizontal scrolling.
Interaction and accessibility
Complete every field with keyboard only. Verify labels, error messages, focus order, contrast, touch targets, zoom, reduced motion, and screen-reader names. Test all logic branches, calculations, scores, recommendations, booking states, and payment outcomes.
| Check | What good looks like | Failure signal |
|---|---|---|
| Page job | One audience, offer, and measurable next step | Several unrelated goals compete |
| Workflow | Conversion context reaches the next system intact | Manual copy and paste after submission |
| Evidence | Plan, date, and source sit beside the claim | Old pricing or a feature with no tier |
Tracking and attribution
Verify analytics consent, page views, campaign parameters, form success, qualified-lead events, bookings, purchases, variant assignment, and source preservation into the destination system. Avoid firing success events before the server confirms success.
Follow-up and recovery
Inspect the resulting contact record, answers, score, outcome, tags, owner, and source. Confirm the correct email sequence, suppression logic, unsubscribe behavior, sales alert, retry path, and the visitor experience when an integration is unavailable.
Reusable validation checklist
- Define the page job and primary conversion.
- Price the tier that includes the required domain and traffic.
- Verify mobile layout and every interactive branch.
- Inspect the contact record and follow-up path after submission.
- Confirm analytics, attribution, errors, and accessibility before launch.
